TWH Community Health Center

Community Health of Westerly, Inc. (CHOW), the parent company of The Westerly Hospital, is anticipating opening an affiliated, nonprofit Community Health Center in North Stonington, CT.

Urgent Care: Everyday from 7am - 9pm

Primary Care: Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm
     Ultrasound: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: Hours TBD
     Mammography: Wednesday, Friday, Saturday: Hours TBD
     General x-ray: Everyday 7am - 9pm
     Lab Draw: Everyday 7am - 9pm

Physical Therapy: Monday - Friday 7am - 6pm
     Sports Hours: Monday - Friday from 6am - 9pm
     Weekends: Hours TBD

*Hours to be expanded based on need.

• Letter of intent received by the State of Connecticut Office of Health Care Access.

August 16, 2009

• Earliest Date the submission of Certificate of Need (CON) application to the state can happen (planned date of submission).

• Hearing to take place within 45 days of final CON submission acceptance.

• Final decision on acceptance of the CON to be made within 45 days of final submission.

January 2010**

• Renovations to existing building commence.

May 2010**

• Estimated opening of physical therapy practice.

July 2010**

• Estimated opening of urgent care and primary care practice.
